During this session, Florian Pollefeyt will outline the key points of the draft bill of the new Book 7 of the Civil Code. This new legislation reforms the law governing special contracts - such as sale and purchase, lease, and construction contracts - and is relevant to every business. The draft bill is expected to be adopted shortly.

As a doctoral student at KU Leuven, Florian Pollefeyt is closely involved in the reform of the law on specific contracts as an advisor to the committee for the reform of contract law. As an expert in the field and a gifted speaker, he is the ideal person to explain the most important changes and practical implications of this new legislation.
